Globe Valves

Globe valves are linear-motion valves designed for precise flow control and reliable shut-off. Available in union bonnet and bolted bonnet configurations, they feature metal-seated construction for long service life and removable seats for easy maintenance.

Offered in sizes from ½” to 24”, with ASME Class 150 & 300 ratings and operating temperatures from -46°C to +425°C, these valves are suitable for isolation, throttling, and pressure-regulated applications across industrial systems.

What is a Globe Valve?

Globe valves are highly adaptable valves designed with an angled seat that provides excellent shut-off performance while maintaining durability under continuous operation. Unlike gate valves, globe valves are well suited for flow regulation and control, and are available in both union and bolted bonnet configurations.

Flow is controlled through a stem-driven disc that moves relative to the seat to adjust the passage of fluid. Rotating the handwheel raises or lowers the stem, allowing the disc to modulate flow or completely isolate the system based on the valve’s position.
