Gate Valves
Gate Valves provide dependable shut-off performance for industrial and fire-protection applications. Available in sizes from ½” to 4”, they support ASME Class 150 & 300 pressure ratings and operate across a wide temperature range of -46°C to +425°C.
Designed to MSS SP-80, BS 5154, BS EN 12288, ASME B16.24, and ASME B16.34, the valves feature robust construction, flexible configuration options, and durable materials for long service life. PED 2014/68/EU compliant, with UL262 approval in process for fire-protection service.
What is a Gate Valve?
Gate valves are widely used valves made up of a body, bonnet, gate, and stem, designed to control the flow of liquids and gases. They are mainly intended for fully open or fully closed operation rather than flow regulation.
Commonly installed in oil and gas systems, water treatment and distribution networks, and industrial process piping, gate valves function by raising or lowering a gate or disc within the valve body to allow or stop fluid flow. Operation is typically achieved using a handwheel or through electric or pneumatic actuators, depending on application requirements.
